I had such an enjoyable afternoon working on this - which I made for the Mixed Media Monday challenge which this week is to use hearts and wings.

Well since these are two of my favourite images to use I was up and running already - that and the freedom to use my favourite colours. So out came the green, turquoise and gold and I just thoroughly enjoyed myself.

The background is a Basic Grey paper - I love their stuff so much. The heart is a cheapie stamp of unknown origins that I bought in a sale and I LOVE it. I embossed it in black, mounted it on some scraps of paper, and added German scrap wings.

Then it seemed to need something, so I used those stamps again (Kelly Panacci clear set) to decorate the edges and the title was from another stamp that just seemed perfect for this.

Hi, Rosie! Dreams do have wings! Thanks for explaining your process and adding credits. That's great.

The joy you had in creating this piece shows in your artwork. Green, turquoise and gold is a nice combination. Thanks for sharing!
