NOW TRADED
This is another of my water splattered distress ink backgrounds, used this time for the TMTA challenge on a nature theme.
I was thinking about human nature as opposed to autumn leaves etc, which is why this image from Digital Collage Sheets appealed to me. She looks rather lost and baffled doesn't she - as if the world is a bit of a mystery. But then I got into a sort of play on words too, adding "natural" elements such as grass and butterflies. The grass is a stamp I got free from Tanda Stamps, and it's amazing how much I've used it.
I know what I was trying to do with this, but I'm not sure I've managed to describe it! It's in the area of the overlap between our inner "nature" and the things we associate with this word in terms of the nature that is "out there". I also object to advertising which uses the word "natural" as if this implied it was somehow superior or inherently good. As I'm always telling the TV, hemlock is 100% natural .....

What a great background and a lovely ATC!
I shall be careful using that word 'natural' from now on! Love the ATC Rosie - esp Dan's (now famous)background.
Gorgeous, love it,
Wonderful interpretation of the theme. Your background is really beautiful (as is the cute, mystified little girl).
