HOW EFFICIENT AM I ...?

I was determined to join in with Kate Crane's calendar project this year, so got myself organised for January in good time! This will be the first time I've done a double page in my journal, and I sneakily made these several pages in - that way if I fail in my good intentions and don't complete the full calendar, I can just pretend these were random pages! Method in my madness you see ...

Lots of lovely Distress Inks on this - mainly Stormy Sky and a touch of Peeled Paint I think, then when it was dry I splodged some water about. The funny little houses are unmounted stamps by Invoke Arts and for the days themselves I just raided my scraps box for suitable colours, and pressed my square punch into use.
And so far I've managed an entry every day, although I have reluctantly concluded that my life is pretty boring as there never seems to be anything particularly exciting to record!

Looking lovely. I've even managed to fill my squares in up to day. Funny we've gone for a similar colour scheme to start off. I need a square punch though, it's so damn fiddly cutting them on my trimmer.

ah love the methodology to cover up the insanity - must try to make myself appear less mad sometime...in a way my blog is my journal- and i must think about transcribing some of the eDiary into my journal - oddly enough I was just saying to Carmen the other day - that I want to develop my poetry this year, so my images will have words too, I will try to call on you in easter ish time as Lukey boy will be training it back as I just can't cope with along drive yet...

Very efficient! Love your page so far. I started the calendar thing last year but did not keep up, which is a shame as I really like the idea!

Really love the colours that you have used. Cannot wait to see the following months. I am trying to stick to this challenge this year as I was so envious of all the great pages I saw.

Wonderful January page! I really like the colour inks you used. I used the same house stamp set on my calander page! Looking forward to seeing more of your calander pages.

Beautiful page. The colours all work so well together. If you haven't got anything exciting to write on your daily square you could always just write what you had for tea!! LOL! That's what I do sometimtes :-)
