WEDNESDAY DESK

Now you may think this workspace is tidy ... but I confess that I messed it up a lil bit so that you wouldn't hate me! I can't help it, I'm a neat worker and to me this looks like a right old state, whereas to some of you this amount of clear space to work in would be a luxury.

OK, so what am I up to. Painting this pen pot which is destined to a pressie for a friend - that sheet of paper in the top right is probably going to be used to decorate it. On the left there's a couple of ATCs I made, the first in ages! After a difficult session with the book I'm now in the stages of editing, I gave up and made these just because I wanted to!!

Top right are a couple of 3D cards which will be my next class, and lower left are the new stamps which came in yesterday's post ... you can never have too many after all!!

Then I remembered to swing round a bit, so here to the right is Sewing Central, not to mention the refreshment station. Because of my disability I don't climb up and down the stairs to my attic more often than I need to (its on the second floor) but once I'm up here I've got the wherewithal to make a brew, and the bathroom is just next door. Put some in get some out as they say ...

And by the way, this looks MESSY to me! Must sort those blooming wires out ... Get on over to Julia's place for more sneak peeks at other peoples desks.

We wouldn't hate you for being tidy Rosie - jealous of you more like LOL I know I'd like to be tidier but it's too much effort for me, just not in my nature. Love the ATCs and that Stampotique stamp. I tried to buy some online the other day and the ones I liked best were all sold out (where I found them cheapest) Which is that one? Don't remember seeing that while I was looking. My sewing machine is a Janome Mystyle Computer - cost a lot of money when I bought it but I thought it was worth it at the time but you can get machines that do the same now for a lot less. I've never made full use of all the embroidery stitches on it either

Hello from another tidy crafter too, I'd just love the opportunity to hang out in your lovely attic room! Everything on your desk looks lovely, is that a flowerpot card, where the center comes out? I made one of those for my nieces birthday last year. I'm sure your friend will love her gift too, please post the finished article.

Cor, can't posibbly hate you for being tidy...I'm in awe of your ability to work like that! Love your new stamps..I have the clear set, but am yet to treat myself to Stampotique yet. Love the swing too - bloomin wires - almost everything involves them , but they aren't ever pretty, huh. BUT..they only become noticeable in a photo!

Love your crafting space and love the fact I'm not the only one who likes to be tidy and organised. Can relate to the 'only go up when I have to' bit. I come downstairs in the morning and plan to not go back up til bedtime. Bit of a nuisance at times but it's manageable :-)

Love the look of the ATC's....all the Stampotique things I see made are all very appealing and I love the quirky nature of them.....the funny thing is I don't have any and don't seem to feel the need!! LOL

OOh Rosie - I hope you share that altered gift when you've completed it. I love to see transformations.

I didn't realise you had fibro - my sister has this too - for a few years now. She's always in a bit of a state and has more bad days than good. Great craft room by the way - there's nothing wrong with a bit of mess now and again. I used to say to a former boss whose desk was always - "tidy desk - untidy mind" - needless to say you couldn't see the wood on my desk!!

Oh Rosie if my desk aka the back side of the dinig room table looked this nice I'd think I hadn't done anything. I have to straighten up every few days just to find what I'm looking for. Good thing was have a kitchen table. I like your attic space. I could live there. Just please tell me you have a window...

P.S.. New pain meds are working, only now I have bronchitis. RA factor was negative on the lab tests.

I want a refreshment station too! I wish I could be a tidy crafter but unfortunately I sit down and mess seems to magnetise towards me. Really looking forward to seeing the end result of your pen pot :)
