I was just playing around and enjoying myself yesterday (something I don't seem to be doing nearly enough of) and came up with this.
It's on terracotta card and I've stamped a decorative edge in black. The main image is an Invoke Arts stamp which I've used to frame an icon. I was sort of thinking about south America and of course this is a milagros shape, and that's why I added some bright colours because they seemed right.
I can't decided whether I like the result or not, so thought I'd put it here and let you decide! It can go in the bin with all the other failures .....

oooo noooo, you don't throw things away, do you?? i learned to always keep my creations, even if only to learn by them....what don't you like about this?? put it away for a couple of days then come back...i learned that from a great art teacher....maybe a little glaze medium mixed with a yellow tone would make it better to you...or maybe it needs a piece of mica...i do like it however...
Its got a lovely South American kind of feel about it - its great Rosie! If you really want suggestions then maybe a little bit of gold or something shiny somewhere?

It's soooo lovely- you just can't bin it, it evokes all the magic of latino laments and stuff with the colours, in short, its a great piece of work :-)
ooooh don't bin it!! You never know when it might come in useful for something else if you are really that unhappy with it.:)
