DOLLY AND ME

NOW TRADED
Made this for the Mixed Media Monday challenge. You already know how I work by making up stories ... well this little girl and her dolly are travelling on a Cunard liner but dolly is most DEFINITELY wanted on the voyage, and she is hanging on to her as something familiar in a "sea" (geddit?) of strange experiences. Most of us can probably remember feeling like that I think. Don't you just love her button boots, and I'm sure I've got a picture of myself with a pudden basin haircut and a short fringe like that!

Rosie that story brings back sad memories of when I was 9yrs old.. we had traveled by steamship 'The Devonshire' to Malta, we sailed for 10 days and whilst we were on board I had my doll (cant even remember her name now. thats how traumatised i was) She was my friend for the whole of the journey... when it came to disembarking 'dolly' and I were FORCED to part, she had to leave with the luggage and sadly I never saw her again... I was one very upset little girl...I swear i dont think I got over that. How sad is that.
that ATC is just gorgeous love it.
