WOYWW

It's Whats on Your Workdesk Wednesday again, so here is the trusty mat showing you what I'm up to today ... which in case you don't recognise anything is constructing storage for my (only two) sets of Nestability dies. This isn't my original idea but I can't remember where I got it from! Anyway, I bought some magnetic sheets and stuck them into CD cases. The nesties then store brilliantly inside and a Dymo printed label on the spine tells me which of my two sets it is! Well I'm planning for a future in which I have a lot more .... so there you go, Inspiration Wednesday!! I shall take a bow ....

But, because of a number of complaints last week - I have also photographed the desk from a much wider angle. This provides proof positive that I can do messy if I try, in fact that greenish pot of painting water is still there from last week. Yuk! Anyway, this is my idea of a complete scrow which needs urgent tidying up. So what else is on there ... well there's a list of colour schemes I'd like to try out tucked under the mat, that ATC is still there, and the new metallic embossing powders I've been playing with. Oh yes there's another ATC that I made for a challenge and haven't got around to uploading, but I realise its just not very interesting this week. I will try harder in future.

  3. Rosie - shame on you - not even the messy crafters would leave paint water on their desk for a week - that's probably cos it would get knocked over when hunting for something under piles of stuff LOL

Nice to have a wider shot of your desk though.

  15. Great wide angle this time! The stamp you admired in my drawer is by Wordsworth (code S093-R but I can't remember where I got it - and there is a price sticker on it - it was £12... yikes, I don't normally pay that much for that sized stamp!) but it is lovely.

  18. Lovely desk - and great storage idea for the nesties :-)

I use magnetic sheets for nesties too, but keep them all in one plastic box (peel off sized) so I can flick through them.

  25. Nice workspace. I love that shelf at the back -- great storage idea that. It DOES make a difference to see the wider view--get a better feel for what the space really looks like.

  29. Sorry ...that desk is certainly not messy ...no where near....despite the green water lol

Great storage idea...perfect for future organization

  30. Love your workspace - nice big work area. Nesties should carry a warning "Addictive" - you just want more and more, as you will see in the Cupboard. ikki

  31. I love your organized work desk. I could craft there. Even your messy is neat. I've seen those nest thingys, but have no idea what they are used for. Can you tell I'm not a stamper or scrapbooker? That's the fun of this whole blog collaboration, though. It gives me a chance to see others' studios, and to see what products are out there.

Sorry I'm late getting here. Hope you had a great WOYWW.

  32. Love the storage idea for the Nestabilities - I've recently discovered them and can't get enough! Please let me know where you got the magnetic sheets from if you don't mind. Thanks. Michelle

  33. Rosie just give up...there's no way you could ever be messy. Your room is totally gorgeous and immaculate.
Now if you saw my work area at the moment you'd get an attack of the vapours!!!

I love your comments and find them very helpful, but only have limited strength and energy so have chosen to follow just a few blogs rather than leave thank-yous for the comments I receive. Hope you understand, and I do SO appreciate your feedback.
